Gateway By SyncroB.It is a complete setup in minutes using a smartphone. LongFi™ technology allows you to use your phone as a hotspot. You can easily manage your hotspots and tokens from the app. Your device consumes less than 12 watts of electricity. LongFi™ technology increases range and battery life.

Features and Security

Remote management is a great feature for managing gateways. These gateways can be managed remotely via a web browser. No more saying goodbye to “Your Hotspot Needs Attention!” This feature allows you to swap out the motherboard inside the enclosure if necessary. You also get self-diagnostic capabilities as well as PoE support. Remote management allows you to manage, diagnose, and onboard your gateway devices through a web browser. Self-diagnostic and self-repair are built into the firmware. A swappable enclosure enables you to swap out the motherboard for an indoor/outdoor version. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support lets you power up your device by plugging in a wall socket.

Hotspot Details A simple device that can be used to create a proof of coverage. It is a low-power device that consumes less than 100 watts of electricity. It works by using an antenna connected to a mobile phone. This device can be easily managed via the app installed on your phone.

Participating in Proof-of-Coverage challenges helps us understand how much energy we use. We can also see how much energy each participant used by comparing our data with other participants’ data. Our hotspot can be managed easily through Helium App or Gateway By SyncroB.It dashboard.

This software is designed to be used by people who want to use an easy-to-use and powerful network analyzer. It provides many features including logging, alerting, hotspot placement, and analysis tools.

How To Install Gateway By SyncroB.It Helium Miner

Preparing Your Gateway Carefully screw the provided 3DBI antenna into the LORA antenna port. Find a suitable location for your gateway.

(For optimal coverage we recommend placing the unit near a window & close to a power source.) Put the ethernet cable in the back of the gateway. Plug the other end into your router. Plug the power cable into the wall adapter. Don’t forget to attach the antenna!

Your gateway needs time to update to the newest version of the firmware. Wait at least an hour before you start using it. Download the Helium app from the App Store or Google Play store. Follow the on-screen instructions on how to set up your wallet. Keep your 12-word passphrase safe.

Unplug your gateway from power, then plug it back in again, this will re-enable the Bluetooth for 5 minutes. Tap on the bottom left tap of an app to go to my hotspots. Tap on the + sign on the top right. Find SyncroB.it hotspot and tap it. Follow on-screen instructions. Find your gateway serial number and write down the name of your gateway when pairing will be its 8 characters serial number. Write this down in case you ever need support for your gateway in the future or want to access the gateway settings.

Select your gateway and continue following on-screen instructions.

WARNING: You will only be allowed to select a location once per account. Any additional Location Assertions will come at a cost ($10) of HNT in-app. Do you understand your gateway’s LED lights?

Carefully screw the provided 3DBI antenna into the Lora Antenna Port. Find a suitable location. For optimal coverage, we recommend placing the unit near a window and close by a power source. WARNING: Do not install any other electrical equipment on top of this Device. Keep this device away from any heat sources such as Direct Sunlight, Heaters, Radiators, Other A/V Receivers, or Devices that Emit Heat.

Ethernet cables need to be inserted into the back of the gateway before powering up. Antennae must be attached before powering on the gateway.

A gateway needs to be powered on for about an hour before updating to the latest firmware. Download the Helium app and follow the on-line instructions to set up your wallet. Keep your 12-word passphrase safe where you won’t lose them.

Unplug your gateway from power. Plug it back in again. Turn off Bluetooth. Go to My Hotspots. Find SyncroB.it. Tap it. Follow the on-screen instructions. Tap scan for my hotspot. Write down your gateway serial number. The name of your gateway when pairing will be its eight-character serial number. Write this down in case you ever need support for your gateway in the future or want to access the gateway settings.

Select your gateway and continue following on-screen instructions.
